SOULJA BOY 'SONNED' A$AP ROCKY...GETS IMMORTALIZED

A$AP Rocky credited Soulja Boy for influencing his career in a sit-down with Los Angeles 92.1 FM station this thursday.
"If it wasn't for Soulja boy, A$AP Rocky probably wouldn't be around.He kinda made a formula.He was the first to do it and it work for him and since then I think that kind of became a basis of a standard way to make it."
The 'Praise the Lord' rapper's recently Yams Festival in Canada was a huge success and though Soulja boy made a suprise appearance, he claims he was too busy cursing out the sound guys back stage to meet him.
Still on Big Draco, the San Antonio Current reports that Colton Valentine,an artiste has painted a mural inspired by the rapper's (in)famous reaction at the breakfast club interview at the side of the Supreme Sports bar.

"I worked on another mural for them a few months ago," he explained. "The owner called me a week ago and gave me free-range over the other side. I had just finished watching the hilarious interview and knew that I wanted to paint Soulja Boy's face."
The Soulja boy interview is currently on 13 million views and still counting.

76ers BOSS EXPLAINS HOW INSTRUMENTAL HIS DAUGHTER AND NICKI MINAJ WERE TO HIS FRIENDSHIP WITH MEEK MILL

Co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers,Micheal Rubin was recently at the Break Fast club and among many other issues,he spoke on how he became close friends with Philly rapper,Meek Mill.Rubin said they first met at a 6ers game where he and his daughter were seated next to Meek and Nicki Minaj who were then dating.His daughter being a huge fan of Nicki's,started chatting with her and things pretty much moved on from there.
Rubin,Jay-Z and Meek Mill are currently pursuing criminal reform through their organization called Reform Alliance, inspired by Meek's recent parole issues.

MI'S 4-CITY TOUR KICKS OFF IN JOS AS HE VISITS BEREAVED SUPER EAGLES FORWARD,AHMED MUSA

Rapper MI kicked off his MI and friends tour on Friday at the Jos Polo Club.The show will move to Central Park in Abuja on Sunday 3rd and Palms Mall Ibadan on the 8th before closing at Sports Club,Abeokuta on the 10th of February. Performances are expected from Ycee,Duncan Mighty,Ice Prince,Jesse Jagz,Reekado Banks and numerous other acts.

Before the Jos show,MI and his younger brother,Jesse Jagz visited the Jos home of Super Eagles forward,Ahmed Musa to grieve with him over the death of his mother.

KANYE WEST INVOLVED IN 3 LEGAL DRAMAS WITHIN 7 DAYS

There were updates on an astonishing 3 seperate legal tussles over the last week involving rap icon, Kanye West.First,he was reported to have instituted an action at a Los Angeles superior court last Friday against recording company EMI and former label,Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella records.Details were sketchy as a result of the suit being redacted but the one clear thing acoording to Hollywood Reporters was

"There now exists a dispute between Plaintiffs and Defendant EMI regarding the parties' rights and obligations to one another under the EMI Contract and Extensions."

It is widely reported that West is accusing both companies of ripping him off.
On the other hand,Japanese fabric company Toki-Sen has sued West for materials supplied for his Yeezy sneakers.West was said to have made a large order to which the company demanded an up-front payment.He promised to do that at a later date and the goods were delivered based on previous successful transactions between the 2 parties but 'Ye turned round to say he wasn't paying.Toki-Sen is demanding $624k.

The final instalment of the Kanye legal drama involves a class action filed by a fan, Justin Baker-Rhett who claims Kanye West's statement before the release of his 'The Life Of Pablo' album saying it was going to be exclusively on Jay-Z's Tidal was deceptive and amounted to consumer fraud as the album has since gone on to be released on iTunes and Spotify.Not helping matters was the fact that Tidal was facing financial struggles and was at the brink of collapse before the album dropped.Kanye's argument was that the version of TLOP on other platforms was one on which he had made some changes to and that only Tidal had the original version.
During the week,a representative speaking on behalf of Kanye said the matter has been settled amicably out of court.
Suing must have been fruitful for the fan.

YOUNG THUG HASN'T DROPPED BARTER 7 BECAUSE OF LIL WAYNE'S THREATS
