GOOD TIMES FOR YOUNG MONEY: DRAKE GETS $6 MILLION CHAIN FROM THE BOSS, NICKI MINAJ'S QUEEN AND WAYNE'S THA CARTER V ARE CERTIFIED PLATINUM

At the start of the week, Eliantte, a jeweler who has Young Thug and Migos as part of his A-list clientele, posted a photo of a $6 million chain Lil Wayne ordered made for Drake complete with a customized '6' pendant.A generous act regardless of $6 million being just a token off what Drizzy pulls for Young Money.
Still on Young Money news, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj both received plaques from the Recording Industry Association of America for their albums, Tha Carter V and Queen released in September and August 2018 respectively.Wayne's much delayed and long anticipated album, Tha Carter V premiered at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart and had the third biggest first week sales in the whole of 2018 with 485,000 equivalent album copies.It also did the second biggest ever first week streaming numbers in music with 433 Million on-demand streams.Behind only Drake's Scorpion which raked in a massive 785.9 Million on-demand streams in its first week.
Nicki Minaj's Queen on the other hand, premiered at No.2 on the Billboard 200 chart behind Travis Scott's AstroWorld and scored 185,000  equivalent album copies.Queen went Gold within a month of release and has Platinum and Gold selling tracks in the monster hit, 'Chun Li' and 'Barbie Thingz' respectively.
Nicki Minaj is officially just one million units shy of becoming the first female rapper ever to sell 100 million units.She is currently on 99 million in albums,singles and features sales as certified by the RIAA.
