Unsuprisingly,Black Panther dominates this year's Oscar Awards with 7 nominations for Best picture,Costume design,Production design,Sound editing,Sound mixing,Best Original score and Best Sound track with 'All My Stars' which lands rapper Kendrick Lamar his first Oscar nomination.The most successful super-hero movie in history grossed $1.3 billion world wide and $793 million annually.It is also the first super-hero movie to be nominated for Best picture.

Showtime has reportedly acquired the North American rights to a Wu-Tang clan docu-series which is being produced by Nas' production company,Mass Appeal.The series will highlight the very early days of one of hip hop's biggest ever crews which started when a group of friends from Brooklyn and Staten Island came together-Raekwon,Ol' dirty bastard,GZA,Method man,RZA,U-God,Inspectah Deck and Cappadonna.The first 2 episodes will show at the Sundance festival later this month while Showtime is expected to stream the whole 4 episode series afterwards.

Vin Diesel has said on instagram that a female-driven Fast and Furious is currently been developed for Universal pictures and that it was one of 3 spin-offs planned.

Kelly Rowland will play Gladys Knight in an upcoming BET series chronicling the rise of Don Cornelius and the start of  Soul Train,the first huge platform that celebrated blacks in music.Rowland's former Destiny's Child colleague,Michelle Williams will play Diana Ross.Promises to be a great watch.Peep Trailer
