Bobby Shmurda will be due for a parole hearing in August 2020 and probably be out by December 2020.This much he has said and his mother has reiterated that after a recent prison visit to him.Shmurda who was arrested at a time when his 'Hot N***a' single was the hottest song in hip hop,was sentenced in 2016 to 7 years in prison for one count of conspiracy and another of illegal weapon possession but could be out early due to time served.
Mama Shmurda told XXL in 2016 asides the love for music,he also loved acting and had 2 movies in his head he wanted to work on.Obviously,he hasn't allowed incarceration weighed him down as he laid verse on Tekashi 6ix9ine's 'Dummy Boy' last year who himself is now being held for federal racketeering charges and conspiracy to commit murder.
Shmurda and members of his GS9 crew were arrested in a publicized raid at Quad recording studio in Manhattan where drugs and weapons were recovered on December 14th 2014.Other members face a range of charges including conspiracy and murder.
