A sequel to Coming To America is in the works and well,is titled Coming 2 America.It will basically involve Prince Akeem (still played by Eddie Murphy) returning to America to look for his long-lost son presumably conceived during his first visit.The movie which is scheduled for an August 7th 2020 release is written and executive produced by Kenya Barris,who also wrote and produced the latest Shaft movie coming this August and starring Samuel L Jackson and Regina Hall.Coming 2 America will be directed by Hustle and Flow director,Craig Brewer.

Warner Bros is reportedly working on a spin-off to its billion dollar movie, 'Aquaman'.It is going to be modestly-budgeted and though will have prominent back scene members of the original working on it,none of the cast from Aquaman will be in the movie.
